Cooking
Where to begin my love of food. Probably the best way to put it is that I love to cook and have been cooking for well over 30 years, and have a really gourmet interest in cooking for at least the last 10.

Mountain Biking
MTBR - Mountain Bike Review
Bikes are personal, it's like wine, everyone has a different want and need.
I ended up picking a Schwinn Moab I mountain bike which featured a Reynolds 525 Chrom-moly frame. In a time where everyone was going to aluminum, I choose the chrome-moly. The aluminum frame models were just too stiff with 0 flex, the Reynolds 525 frame had the light weight of the aluminum but with just enough flex to make it much more comfortable bike to ride off road. The rims were upgraded to Sun Mammoth downhill racing rims with heavy duty spokes (because I kept taco'ing rims on jumps). All components were upgraded to XT, and the seat post was changed out for a titanium Ti-tech Hell-bent downhill model that gives me a little more comfort and room on longer runs. The seat in now a WTB that is MUCH more comfy than the rock that came with the bike.
I also went with mid-height downhill/cross county Nike shoe with clip-ins rather than the really light models - I needed the ankle support for my riding style.
Stunt Kites
I started flying stunt kites back in the early 1990's, as a way to take a break
and get outside more. I have
Griffin one eight footer that will almost life you off the ground and runs on dual
300lb lines. On the other end of the spectrum I have a 1 foot Prism Micro kit that will hit over
60-70 MPH on a windy day and is absolutely insane to fly.
